The Electric Prunes were a 60s psychedelic rock band from Los Angeles, California. Most of the members had been in a few garage bands together while attending Taft High School. In 1967, “I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night” was their biggest hit. They released four albums in three years and appeared on the soundtracks to a few movies, most famously as the song that plays during the New Orleans graveyard scene in Easy Rider. By 1970, the band broke up. “World of Darkness” was a rare unreleased track that appeared on the Lost Dreams album in 2000, and as the b-side on the “I’ve Got A Way Of My Own” single.
